My girlfriend has a mostly functioning Hotpoint Customline wall oven and cooktop. They are mostly functional, but there are a few semi-automatic features that I don't know how to use properly. If anyone out there has a source for user manuals (or possibly even brochures) for these I'd sure appreciate them. Thanks!

Sorry. Manuals are no longer available and will never be found. Therefore, she should get rid of it. Tell ya what, I'll come help take it out and even haul it away. What a guy, huh?

So, when do you need me there?????

Chuck

(seriously... they're great!!! Enjoy them!)

Yes, this is Omaha. The house was built in 1957, and the kitchen is original, down to the linoleum. There's a matching pink cast iron sink. Countertops are the same as the wall behind the cooktop. Original stainless vent hood by Swanson. Gansky1, I'll be interested if you have anything. Apparently, Hotpoint also made a freestanding stove that was a part of the Customline series...that's the only stuff that's popped up in my search of the interwebs.

Hotpoint used almost the identical top and panel on their freestanding 30" range, adding oven controls, that you have on the counter-top unit.  Some friends of ours had the 57 TOL freestanding range in their basement as a second range, I always thought it was one of the most beautiful ranges I'd ever seen.  They used the panel light for a night-light in the basement laundry so it probably enhanced it's beauty to a religious experience!  I'll check the doctrine room and see what I can come up with...

Hotpoint Parts

I have a Hotpoint Customline electric double wall oven in stainless steel installed in 1958. I need parts. The 'on' light blinks on when the knob is between off and bake but the bottom oven never heats up. The top oven will heat up 1 time in 5 tries. I would really like to get another one for parts.

I have a wiring diagram RJ-12 Part No. 304580. Nothing on the oven tells me a model number. I guess the info plate, if they used those in 1958, is on the side or back. It is bricked in so not viewable.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I am in the vastly greater chicago-land area.

I see one thing..

The Super Matic unit "Thermostatic control," has been changed to a regular switch, Some people love them, but to me this is good because they rarely work correctly..

I have a Hotpoint manual!

Hello,

I know this thread is really old, we just purchased a 1958 MCM home with the original Hotpoint Supermatic Customline surface range & wall stove & included was the ORIGINAL Hotpoint manual!!

I'd be more then happy to scan & email it to you or make a copy & mail it to you.
