Late 80's Early 90's commercial SQ

At the laundromat that I frequent, there are 3 SQ toploaders that on the out of order tag say they won't spin. What would cause this and is it an easy fix? My reason for asking is because one of them has been down for 1 1/2 YEARS, theother 6 months, and another a month. I just wondered if it was something really complicated or if the owner is just lazy.

LOL, could be. What part would cause it not to spin?

Do you know if these models have 2 belts or one? There could be a few reasons, such as timer issues, motor issues, bearing issues. Do you know if the motor will run on the spin cycle but not spin the tub? Can you get pictures, Do they have stainless steel clothes baskets? I used to have a 1994 coin-op Speed Queen with Stainless Steel tub, but I traded it to a friend of mine(now deceased)for the Marathon machine I have.

Yes these are the 2 belt version, 2 of them are from 1992, not sure when the other one is from. Yes they do have the SS basket, very good machines.
