finally got a chance to post these, at the end of the photos are some more modern finds I was lucky enough to acquire. Thank you to those who helped me and you know who you are. Congrads to others recent/great finds as well .
I grew up with that same GE Power Shower dishwasher.
What a cool find and in such good condition.
We finally moved up to the front loading Potscrubber
in 1975 when the soap dispenser wouldn't flip anymore
and the repairman said to just buy a new one.
Great finds. I have two questions. On the mobile maid, my best friend's mom had an older model and my boss at a previous company had that one in avacado, what does "rinse glo" mean. I am thinking it turns the heating element on. Second on the Kitchen aid, what does the super scrub selection do? I know the Soak & Scub is the pot cycle and on the one i had the heating element was on for the all three washes.
Mike, Rinse--glo is the Jet Dry dispenser. On the KA, Super Scrub does a delay temp boost on the first pre-wash to 130 or 135 degrees. An option for the Soad & Scrub and Normal Wash cycles. Without the option the water heat didn't happen until the main wash.
Oh, that Bendix is beautiful!! Gotta love the pre-war washers. Those dishwashers are cool too - whereever did you find the ISE NIB?? The KA Is great too - never used! Amazing.
thanks folks ........ I don't know about the AC yet, where I have not tried it out myself, I was told it worked great and check this out ........ THE AC WAS PICKED UP IN NEW ORLEANS ONE DAY BEFORE KATRINA HIT ............. ouch ........
Jon, I thought the KA was older than '00.??? But I know its a well made "newer" machine with excellent cleaning capabilities.
Great new stuff Greg! Boy its been a busy summer for all of us. I'm just thrilled you saved that 1939/1940 Bendix washer. If you need help with the process of bolting it down, just let me know.
