Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well your probably all bored of my Hotpoint ideas, but here&

I was going to call this AquariusExtra, but then I thought, people would probably get confused between that and Aquarius+, so went for a Futura+ instead!
Notice I have also incorporated Indesit/Hotpoints style display on this machine. (Thanks to Sketchup for that!)

8KG, steam, cuddly Toys wash, LED "Big Digit", Wash action selection, 20 minute 20C fast wash, 15 minute 30C quickwash, super silent wash, auto clean - with Indication (So no longer need to guess when it needs completing)

Hope you enjoy, and I will now get on with Gba designs!

Excuse the lines (Printer is broken)! I will upload the Big Digit display separately for you, so you can see it

Big Digit display - my version!
As mentioned in the above post.

Time remaining read out (Yellow minute by minute countdown), plus Arrow glass to indicate this
Variable spin 1600 - with maximum selection bars (Bottom left) and spin symbol, to indicate the machine is displaying spin speed (instead of time!)
24hrs Time delay (of which from 24:00-19:59 counts down Hourly, 19:59 counts down minute by minute, as with all Hotpoints)
Wash Action selection - Super wash (Bottom right 1st symbol), Normal (Bottom right 2nd symbol), Delicates (Under auto clean symbol)
Cycle progress (Wash, Steaming, Rinse, Spin)
Rinse Hold symbol - right of max spin selection bars - Appears when rinse hold is selected (See manual which will follow), flashing with spin symbol on and END in display, rinse holding the laundry - press start to continue.
Red warning indications - Door locked, Error - no water!
Blue indication auto clean symbol - flashing at the end of a cycle - you need to perform the Auto clean wash after finishing all your laundry. Constantly on - Auto clean cycle being performed.
END displayed in middle countdown - cycle finished.

Lots of info there!! Simple really! I am working on the manual, and will let you know when its available.

What About...

All well being with these fancy designs, but will anyone design a simple basic machine for people like me who only wash once a week?

HenryPeter21

Yep ive done just that...

this is the Adams Opaque Delux Plus that is built on the design of the classic electrolux opaque machines. basic machine 1000rpm Half load, extra rinse and rinse hold options temp and prog dial.

Since last week ive done 20 new machines :O

Glenfieldmathk1 - way off with the whirlpool.

the last machine i posted has a sister model which il post later on...similar design with added temp dial and new colour scheme, i have many more machines available for viewing if they are requested. also the Logic III will be ready soon! aswel as some more basic models and a mid range model or two :)

Gba Precise 5 (800 Electronic)

Introducing the simple Electronic Timer controlled Gba 800spin, 5KG washer from the Gba precise range.
It is simple to use, and has that retro finish.

A variable temp dial, and 5 options make this very user friendly, yet simple to use. It's very precise at what it does too:)

This model is available in 800 (rrp £225.00), 1000 (rrp £230.00), 1200rpm (rrp £236.00) in all white, or white with brown trim.

another

same as above but with added spin rinse option... this was featured on old philips machines and i thought id re-introduce it with my machines, pressing the spin rinse option it will do the first and third rinses as spin rinses which means at the begining of the rinse it will jump straight into a 400RPM spin while its draining the water.

I had to add this comment, so the forum doesn't go into archive.

Wow!

I'd better get my act together and improve on those basic Dishwasher designs from the "mysterious" land of Bernardia, around 500km northwest from Perth, Western Australia. A country once united, but crippled and "Eco-mized" from a terrible conflict between nations/states. This involved destroying dams, creating a water-conservation crisis (what else?). The country still runs much equipment that is long forgotten elsewhere!

Brands include Bernardi Homewares and Electrical (how original?), affiliate groups DishBernard (Selecto, Deluxe, SuperMultimatic), BernardiWash (Zipwash, QueenWash, KingWash) and Corelco (garbage) together.

Another brand would be Bernarco. The original (and the best) electrical motor manufacturer in the company. Now, they've made some pretty decent machines of the years of dishwasher, including the Bernarco EuroStar (Or Ear-Ro star) in models Power, Ultima, Grandè, Grandè-Ultima.

Anyone interested in these design plans? Of course, I'll be starting with the DishBernard products...

Well..

As great as your designs are, there is nothing particularly original about them. Most of them look like old Ariston washers and your logic still machine is a little more than "heavilly influenced", it IS a logic.

The latest ones look like Candy Domino machines and the Zanussi-made Hotpoint Liberator machines from the 70's.

I know your idea is a kind of old style and reliability meets modern performance but maybe try and design something totally new with a unique selling point, perhaps?

Hi Luke.

Really like the final three in particular - really appeals to the retro in me. Silver against the grey, with the red line trimmings. Smart combination, though my Computa-Delux 1000 would be a white bodyshell version.
Silver bodyshell is a bit modern for me! lol :-)

p.s below is my very old line drawing of my aunt and uncles Hoover A2018 Automatic E - not quite the dab hand at computer art that you are.

Qualin - I already thought about it

I have many designs in Sketchup, they just need finishing by me, by hand.
I already thought about a top loader (or 3), just one of them is shown below. This one would be an agitating top loader, with timer control dial, as opposed to digital control. 2 water levels, full or half, 1000rpm spin.
I also am working on a Top Loading agitator with touch screen and various water levels, but agitator - no rubbish wash plates, low water levels here! I am working on it to be like my upload of front loader in reply#5
I also have an EU one coming, I will take/upload more photo's of the insides at a later date.

since the thread is still active i might aswel add some more.

Aquacycle i have hundreds of machines drawn up its only those that i posted were my latest, if i were to post them all id be here for hours... i do know what you mean and im working on a new approach to them. the Logic II is not the exact same as a logic and the logic III which is posted below is again more modern but with a bit of old school flavour to it.

Qualin- ive thoguht about doing a top loader for some time, i will probably get one up by next week or even tonight if im not to busy.
