mark is so funny.. just like that radio-tv thing at travis s house .. well have to find you one of those.. robert, the oil i put back into the trans was maytag oil. that was the thickest oil i had. the book didnt say what type just how much so that sort of what i did

I'm not sure that those clutches can run probably on such thick oil, you might have to experiment with Air Compressor oil or even lighter Dextron-3 automotive transmission fluid.

PS: Diomede, You' d like this modern jewel too :

Thank you Carlo!!

I knew about that washing machine, one of the last rare TLHA 60cm wide like...oops I must say it once more...IGNIS!

Unfortunately V-zug is only a Swiss market brand, unless you buy it online.

This machine is largely applied on shared lanudry areas, just like it happens often in Swiss condos

Would be really interesting if some American appliance maker, or an investor with deep pockets would sit those "V-Zug" people down and see if they would do a deal to bring some of their appliances to the US market.

However, as Miele has finally given up the ghost on 220v laundry and even dishwashing appliances in the United States, reworking the appliances to run on 120v would probably add huge R&D costs to the considerable shipping/import costs.

In short, just as Miele found out, sales numbers probably wouldn't justify costs.

OTHO if certian patents and design elements could be licensed and an American quasi "V-Zug" could be made in the US, along the lines of Bosch's "Nexxt" line, perhaps things could be different.

Miele makes 4800 serie for USA/CA markets ONLY.
As you said time ago, they are pushing fully commercial DWs
(G7855-56-59) as household TOL DW
Here in Europe they' re doing the same BUT with "cheaper" semi-commercial DW (G8050-51-52 - see link below to compare prices with G1833 TOL household DW)

IMHO this means they consider north america a key market for TOL ranges of their products, so there could be a chance for swiss appliances too
