Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Thanks Guys

This are my first vintage washers. The unimatic is up an running. The GE unfortunately is still sitting in the garage. I thought of taking the fridge out of the utility room and putting the GE in its place. But during the unimatic's maiden wash, the breaker tripped when it went into spin. I also had my regular washer going at the same times. Turns out, all the receptacle boxes in the utility room are connected to just one breaker so I can only run one washer at a time. What's the fun in that?

So now I have to decide if I want an electrician to come out or do I just wait since we're moving next year. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...

Ben, Rick practically ripped my arm off! OKAY, I CONFESS. It was more of tug at the pinky. What can I say, I'm weak...

Very nice start to a washer collection for sure - two great machines. It does sound like you need another circuit in the laundry room, but if you stagger the start of the cycles, you may be able to have two running at the same time. I'll bet if they aren't spinning at the same moment, you'd be ok.

Nice Flair collection as well - two 40" and a 30"? Looks like you have even more pictures to do for us ;-)

I didn't really have to twist Nelsons arm much to get him to take the Filter-Flo. But because we did not have an appliance cart, I did have to rely on some authentic "gangsta power" to load both the Filter-Flo and the Unimatic onto Nelsons truck. I guess that could count as "strong-arming" after all lol!! <:

Nelson, thank you for the close-ups!!! Guess you set the little knob to "return" and turn the timer to a wash segment for the sudsy water to come back in. BTW, "Extra Wash" is simply very extended wash--18 minutes I do believe, maybe a bit more. It doesn't do a separate fill for each.
