semantics - again?
You can call it a sealing, union, marriage, whatever. Without the legal "civil" component in the ceremony, the government will not recognize it. If a civil union between a same-sex couple has the full effect and same legal rights as a opposite-sex couple, then it is the same thing. You can have wedding, marriage, sealing, non-breeding binding, whatever you like on the invitation but the legality of it is the same. Isn't that what we're really after? Who gives a crap what the religious whackos think? Civil rights should and hopefully will include all citizens.
