Great collection of smalls - my heart melts for the Sunbeams every time!

My grandmother had a couple of the Oct-O-Lets in her kitchen for many years until one shorted out and a long drip of plastic ran down the wall. My grandfather took them both out and re-wired the whole kitchen. Hadn't thought about those in years!

Maybe this is the appliance Lisa learned her electrickery on!!!

Wouldn't running 8 devices from one point be of a slight concern (i.e. Kettle, Mixer, Toaster, Hotplate, Clock, TV, Fridge etc). I can imagine what'd happen today - either your RCD/US Variant will go Bang/Click OR your powerpoint will melt (That'd be funny!)
