Wow, that is interesting. I love these dishwashers, I used one at a summercamp a few years ago, but the one I used only lasted 30 seconds per cycle.

I am shocked that something was left. I expected it to all melt.

I'm not too surprised it didn't melt. Those are short cycle dishwashers, and that was a pretty big chunk of ice (thick walls). But I don't think it would have lasted in a residential Bosch.
