Let's try this again

OK now that we're home from Florida and all tan, I'm going to try and restore the updates I had made, but this time with out the same bugs (hopefully).

Let me know when/if you see something odd. I do know that the home page works perfectly in all browsers execpt IE. In IE the drop down menus shift the page downward as you hover over them. That is a minor bug and certainly not stopping any functionality so I'll work on that after I get the rest completed.

Thanks everyone for you continued patience. For those who might not like change, I'm not making these changes for the sake of change, these are coming to try and keep aw.org current with the rest of the internets!

I just tried to log out and I got the '404 suds lock page' and it did not log me out.

Yup, just noticed that myself, and I believe I fixed it. Try it now Gary.

I did notice however that when I sign back in from the home page, it displays the old format page i.e. without the buttons across the top, without the 'latest posts', 'my posts', etc. so you have to select one of the forums and then you can select 'latest posts', etc.

I've also updated the old/original Discuss-o-Mat menu page to make it more compact and easier to use, I've also have incorporated the Forum Rules on this page as well. Since many of you like the link at the top active to this menu page I've decided to leave it there as is.

Hmmmmm....

I wonder what other versions of IE are being used. I'm using the most recent one, I think lol, and I haven't had a problem at all with the site. Not even with the drop down menu's as you had mentioned.
