I'm helping a relative with a kitchen remodel, and the LG 24in. Model# LDF 6920ST is within the project budget (around $700). It's listed for $720USD with a $99 rebate. Is this a good dishwasher?

Consumer Reports tested it very recently, and it received a total score of 79, putting it in the top one-third of the tested machines. The dishwasher at the top of the ratings (a Bosch) received an 82. In other words, it tested very well for CR.
HOWEVER: LG is rated the lowest in reliability. Whirlpool is listed as the most reliable brand.
I have a two-and-a-half year old LG and it has performed flawlessly. It cleans well and is very quiet.

I happened to get the latest issue of Consumer Reports in the mail this week and saw the good rating as well; however, CR is only one datapoint, and I very rarely make decisions on an n of 1. On other various websites, the feedback on this dishwasher is all over the map.
I also did a search for LG dishwashers on this site, which I consider more informed, and can report that the overwhelming majority had good things to say about LG dishwashers with amazingly few problems reported.
Thanks again for your input. I'll recommend to my sister-in-law to buy it.
Now, at the risk of pushing my luck on an automatic washer post, any recommendations for a gas range with a convection oven?
