I used to have one of the LG Top Control Washers, but the model number escapes me now and I need to locate a parts manual for it. It would probably be close to 20 years old by now. Can anyone suggest a model number? It was pretty much TOL with turbowaash and onboard heater. It was the best cleaning washer I ever had and had the baffles with the roller balls on them.

I seem to think it has a "32" in the model number but could be wrong. If anyone has an inkling as to the model number, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Steve

LG Top Control Front Load Washer

Hi Steve,

I have a similar LG unit that I purchased in 2008, and it has the turbo wash and Sanitary features that you describe. The series model number is WM0642HW.

Here is a link to a PDF of the owner's manual.

Thank you...

Darryl. That's a start. My machine was a few years older than yours. I still have the water pressure switch from it and it looks like the one in my current machine. As you can imagine, I would like to try the old one out and adjust the water level on that one before trying to change the one on the current machine for warranty reasons. I may just jump in and give it a try and see what happens. But I await further information from some of the other members, just to be sure.
Have a great weekend.

Had to be before 2012

The machine I had, I bought used back in late 2007 and it died by Dec. 2009. And it had Turbowash on it. Like I said above, it was the best cleaning machine we ever owned. It was replaced by a Whirlpool Duet that could not compare to it in any way. The current house has an LG set now and I am still getting used to it.Just want to get more water into it, It really rolls the clothes over better when there is more water in it.

how did the turbowash work?

I thought it used 2 side jets for recirculation in the gasket and a freshwater jet at the top of the door. You can hear the sprays hitting the back of the drum with the recirculation jets from the pump and the freshwater from the cold water supply.

Yessir, Darryl

Much closer. Actually. I believe you hit the nail on the head. I think I will substitute the water level switch from that on into my new machine and see what happens before making any adjustments on the new machine's switch. Hopefully the connections will be the same.
