I just had a serviceman do a "lookover" for my Whirlpool washer. When he pulled the cabinet apart from the machine I discovered an excessive lint residue build-up, caked along the outside of the upper part of the washbasket. He was nice enough to remove alot of it but, the inner and outer baskets are not under the warranty. So, he couldn't clean it all out. Does anyone have any other ideas of ways to remove the lint residue?
