The two brothers (have known them since they were kids) who live in the apartment below me have a large terrarium in their living room. They grow off-the-beaten-path mushrooms, in part as a project for David's 10-year old son who spends a few days a week with his dad. Last night David brought me a Lion's Mane mushroom. It looks a bit like a tennis ball-sized cauliflower floret. They look really interesting, but I have no experience with cooking/using them.
Anyone here know something about them or how to cook/use them?
