LOOK!!!! Monky Wards is BACK!!!!

I was surfing the net and came across the Montgomery Wards website, they even have a catalog, which by the way i signed up for, they even have their own credit account. I wonder if they still have department stores? But hey Monkey Wards is back and that is just awesome, i used to LOVE going to Monkey Wards when i was a kid especially the Vacuum and washer section lol.

Somehow it brings back memories of Fingerhut form long ago. Everything is WAYYY overpriced, and with their in house CC I bet they charge high interest to people who really can't afford it.

It's not the same Monkey Wards

The name was bought several times, most recently last July by Swiss Colony. The "real" MW went bankrupt in 2000:

Well looks like

MW is trying to make a comeback, i hope they bring back their Signature Wards brand, i do like the site and i cant wait for the catalog, but Swiss Colony is a Cheese company, what the hell do they know about clothing, electronics, ect. Oh well we'll see.

They've got the back-office/warehouse/logistics "thing" down so it's not a tough diversification to add a new "label"...also allows them to cross-promote. Hanover House is famous for that...they've probably got 50 "labels"
