That's adorable! Were these typically more expensive since they are more rare, like most compact & portable machines were/are in the U.S.?

They were never sold in Australia to the best of my knowledge.....and I believe they are VERY expensive new given their size/capacity....

 

From reading the instruction manual, it appears that the rinses are programmable both in number and possibly water level...

 

Josh, don't forget to use about a 1/3 the quantity of detergent in this baby or it'll never rinse properly....

 

3Belt, they are about 45cm wide - so take about 2/3 or 3/4 the space of a traditional (for us) machine.....yet are very fully featured.

S = Economy (think lower temperature + longer time)

L= Intensive

 

So I guess that the L+Prewash is intensive + prewash which probably means longer time at stated temperature + prewash....

thus 45/2.54= 17.7 inches; say 18 inches!



That is just a tad wider than the 5 buck Haier HLP21N I bought off of ebay with a 1.9 cuft drum

Mmmmm....I'd be using something known to be very low sudsing....Omomatic/Drivematic etc....With Omomatic, you could get away with about 1/6th of a scoop according to Choice (at 1/4 dose in a standard sized machine it became the 3rd best powder in their last test...at half dose, it was still the best!)

Its tide for front loaders. I havent got aussie washing powder i have tide,gain and cheer for front loaders and 10 2.5lt bottles of top loader purex. Ive got my eye on that new green omo front load stuff i think its alpine fresh or something

theres a new small and mighty liquid called Alpine Fresh from OMO, quite nice really, a bit like the quickwash stuff they had not so long ago...

i think as washer evolves with the year so are the detergents that we use with or washers because i think that we will see least and least powerdered detergents and more liquids detergents as liquids ar biodegradable. and newer detergent are also more concetrated if you look at a detergent bottle label like for ex: liquid tide he ye will see 2x concentrated or on some 3x concentrated

i am using Gain and Tide HE Powder at the moment too, got them sent from Polkanut on here in exchange for some Drive and Omo. They are great, Gain is so fresh and clean its a joy to use :-D

i don't know any sites that do. The only one i know ships US detergents is the US Foods site in Melbourne but at the moment they only have Liquids...
