Good morning Patrick and Congratulations! It's a gorgeous machine. Now I also have something to look at of yours when I'm in Portland this fall.

No lights of any kind.

The washer should have a germicidal "ozone" lamp behind the lid button, but it may have been removed. The wiring diagram shows one, and that thing that looks like a transformer near the the timer is a ballast for the germicidal lamp.

The agitator cap was painted silver to match the agitator at the factory.

mom had one

my mother had a machine just like the pic. I remember when it was finished the lid would pop up..I want to say there was also a buzzer that sounded as well....maybe not...anyway I was also getting in trouble because the washer was in the kitchen...I was always pushing the button making the lid pop up....guess that's why it broke./mark

Jeff

Thanks for the info. I'll have to pop the top and look for telltale signs of the missing lamp. There definitely is not one there now, not even wires or a socket. I had not really analyzed the wiring diagram since everything seems to work so didn't even notice that. I was just assuming this was a BOL model and that's why so many things were different from the ad that Robert posted. I'm still trying to find those 7 rinses!

Patrick did you see the link directly above that ad I posted, its a link to the parts list to your exact washer? That ad is an ad for your exact machine as well, Glen is correct, 1 deep rinse + 6 spray rinses makes for the silly "seven rinses" claim.

Robert

I'm sorry. I was so focused on reading the ad itself, I didn't see the link. I have just looked at all of it and when I get home I will see what the previous owner has done to all of these options. I never saw a light holder but now I know the buzzer is still there as well as the "choke coil assembly" (which seems like an odd description). I also think the wiring has been "messed" with because the loom or harness in the diagram doesn't look anything like what's actually in the machine. Thanks again for posting the ad and the parts list. You are an invaluable source of information.

Question about the timer.....

Does this machine have a Mallory timer with an Ingram timer motor? Great washer. Hope you find a matching dryer and make it a pair. Congrats.
