Anyone have a short basket drive with a narrow belt pulley they're willing to sell? I need one and I cant find one anywheres! Its the only thing holding me back from my restoration.

A short spin tube (13 11/32 inches vs. 18.5 of the previous) with the narrow pulley is almost unheard of. The part exists though, was used in I think one or two odd-ball KM models post 1977 and before 1982, including an 80 series 24-inch machine from 1980. Don't know if it was used in any WPs or not.
I saw one of these on eBay not long ago, but left it there because I figured I would never have a use for it.
Let me dig up the part number to use....will come right back.

Yes they may have made these, but why do you need one? You can easily rebuild your old one by replacing a worn spin tube, etc.

The part number is 383931, but is no longer on eBay.
What is wrong with what you have? Spin tubes are easy to find, as are the bushings to restore the drive pulley, etc. Most often when I have used a whole drive assembly was when I wanted to save time and make a quick one for one swap, but that is an expensive way to go.
If the restoration you're working on is missing the drive altogether, a 383929 / 285897 will supply all you need except the pulley, which can likely be had elsewhere and swapped.

I figured this may raise questions! But most Canadian machines were sold with the quiet-pak. I'm going to rebuild the one that's in it but I want a spare or two if I can. I have another Canadian machine coming my way. None of the parts stores in Canada, or eBay, have it. Thanks for your help guys.
