Hello,

I'm trying to find the brand name of this vintage dryer. Actually, I'm looking for a high resolution picture of this image, along with the model. I'm an upcycle artist who uses vintage appliance parts AND spokesmodels from vintage appliance ads.

Does anyone have this advertisement that they can scan and send me OR does anyone know the make and/or model of this unit?

Thank you!

Julie,

Check ebay for copies of this particular advertisement.  I don't find any right now, but I have seen them listed before.

As others have said, this model is from 1957.  But this was a feature that General Electric used from 1956 through 1969 on their dryers, so unless it's this exact ad you're wanting, there are others out there that are similar.

The first GE door opener pedals in the redesigned HI-Speed dryers starting in 1957 were big, impressive things, like the POWER BRAKE pedals in some late 50s cars which then were down sized as the feature became more common.
