Hi everyone...in looking for a replacement for the blower wheel assembly for my 1960 Westinghouse Dryer it looks like the Maytag HOH might work. Its dimensionally the same, with the only issue being the blower blades may be too long (that can be fixed with the Dremel tool). Please let me know if anyone has one they are looking to sell..thanks

Hi John,
The shaft is worn so it rattles in the mount side to side. I added a thin roller bearing to stop the in and out rattling and it solves that problem, so that solution almost works. I was thinking I could use both the HOH mount and fan to replace the W mount and fan, though these are hard to find and the only one on ebay is $150.

Blower Fan For A 1959-63 Westinghouse Dryer

The MT fan does not have a shaft, it runs on the dryer drum shaft, it would be a pretty neat trick to get that to work on a WH dryer, I have several MT HOH fans around if you really think you can get it to work.

I would just your old WH fan assembly to a machinist and they can do a very permanent and good repair on it.
