I have a copper dishwasher that was removed from a 1956 home. It was the top of the line when the home was built. It still works! Any advise on where to sell this find?

Thanks,
Heather

Listing vintage machines here on AW is a great thing to do. A collector who appreciates that machine will be apt to buy it. Whereas if you list it say on Craigslist you could very easily get someone who is only interested in its scrap value.

Just remember to list appliances for sale in the "Shopper's Square" forum. You just have to make sure you choose the right topic from the list when you create the post. (It's at the bottom of the drop down list.)

Good luck. Someone here should express some interest in your machine.

And....Welcome to AW.ORG

That picture was probably taken with a hand-held communication device.  Mine takes lousy pictures too.

As was stated above, if you post this in the "Shoppers Square" forum (see "items for sale . . ." option in the subject list on the "Create a Thread" page), you may generate more responses.

Additionally, pictures (better ones if you're able) of the interior would be helpful.

Do be advised that you're not sitting on a gold mine, that distance from any interested member may require shipping, and that we appreciate your attempt to keep this machine from going to the scrap yard.

You may want to post it on craigslist in metro areas like Portland and Seattle where there is likely to be more interest in mid-century modern items like this than there may be in your immediate area.

Depending on where in IDAHO, if it needed to come west, i could bring it to pdx in early october on my way home from Denver or, it neeed to go east i could get it to denver end of next week..Lots of room in big bertha
