Hi Toggle....people's ignorance in this day and age is abysmal.
Many people, especially Roman Catholics have no idea about other churches. Once I brought Roman Catholic to High Mass in Episcopal Church. She was amazed that we said the Lord's Prayer, Nicene Creed, etc. I responded "well, we don't jump up and down and shout hallelujah for a few hours and that our Mass is essentially the same. The two diffferences are that the closest we have to a Pope is the Archbishop of Canterbury and worst of all, we don't have BINGO!!!!!
As I stated earlier, catholic (small "c" is intentional) means universal.

Subject Drift

I really haven't read this thread because there seems to be both religion and politics involved and that's when I vamoose. But I'd like to take this opportunity to say that my girlfiend, her kid and me all spent the entire day with the man we know as Toggleswitch yesterday. He is really a great guy and we had a wonderful time. My GF and her kid just adored him. I have a couple of pictures from the visit but those will have to wait until later in the week.

Toggle was here in Tucson in September and he is loved and adored by Roger, Nate, and Ross, the Tucson Contingent. We look forward to his return here end of March 2006 for our mini-wash in. Toggle is a star.

Your very first act as president needs to be overturning Executive Order #13233 so that we might know the TRUTH about everything that has transpired behind the curtain in the current administration... (E.O. #13233 was signed on November 1, 2001 by Bush and effectivly seals all White House and administration documents, memos and communications - FOREVER. Nobody can ever see what they have done, nor can we learn from the mistakes. This order can only be overturned by another presidential order.)

While I love Jackie Kennedy, it's just too fussy at the White House - and so very French (she was a rabid Francophile, who cheated a bit on the restoration - but it was either that or let one of those dreary DuPonts REALLY gloom up the place).

Let's redo it with all modern furniture. Better yet, let's just move the capital to Florida or LA or someplace like that, with some really fun architecture!
