Thanks Guys,
The bottle in the pic is Snowy all fabric bleach. Most of the bottles are full with little gone from them. We did attend the sale in Saddle Brook, and what a waste of time that was, overpriced and you had to wait outside to get in, I found out that the single unmarried women lived there here entire life and it was her parents home. We didn't find a thing there worth buying and the house will require work done to it. Both AC's run fine, thanks for the advice on the GE motor, I will give it a shot of lubrication before use. Total cost for everything was $45.00 so it was the good deal of the day. And to think I really didn't want to go out on Saturday to do this estate sale stuff, but my partner Bill convinced me otherwise to go, I am glad we took my car.

Nice finds!!

That CHAMBERS lit is cool! We have those exact same Copper Chambers built-ins in our VT house... the wall oven that we found last year in Indiana was BRAND NEW from 1956, stored in a basement for a kitchen renovation that never happened! still had the oven racks wrapped in paper. We got those same brochures and the manuals with it too. Vintage Chambers ranges go well with vintage laundry machines!

I Hate!

To get up early on my Saturday off, but I usually do..I have worked third shift going on 17 years, so mornings just are not my thing, LOL!Donald and I usually go to estate sales and auctions twice a month, the other two weekends, he goes because I have to work Friday night.

What amazing finds!  It just goes to show you what is still out there, waiting to be saved!

Funny how so many people have memories of the Carry-Cool air-conditioners - it was also the first air-conditioner in my own bedroom when I was a brat.   I actually saved up to buy it myself and I was darned proud of it!   The motor bearings dried up on this machine after a few years - the GE (Camco) technician said it was finished and that we might as well buy a new one, but a local repair shop regreased the bearings and the machine worked fine until 1994!

Have fun with these treasures!!
