I saw a Magic Chef stove and dishwasher at Lowe's yesterday. They were both BOL...but it's been ages since I've seen Magic Chef appliances in this neck of the woods.

About a year ago we stayed in a beach house (actually a duplex) with two DU4Ks. They were both very capable.

I've seen Magic Chef stoves, ovens and our last house even had a Magic Chef central A/C unit. Rugged, but with an efficiency rating of about 1.0.

I have never seen a Magic Chef dishwasher. What regions of the US were they popular?

RCD gave us a cool intro to these--though a Maytag brand, the wash system is not the JetClean.  This is Magic Chef's wash system.  I'd love to find one to play with.
