So I (re)found this washer dryer set in the barn for the apartment at my parents place (it's complicated) 😋 and after I scrubbed the muddy paw prints and other detritus off of it, I ran a load of work clothes in it and fell in love with it! It works really well, I didn't think it would be so different from the other TL I've used, but the corkscrew agitator and heavy duty action and the filter system made a really satisfying wash.
I couldn't find a serial tag, but it was probably bought about '96.
Funny the things we take for granted. I'm tempted to trade out the old BOL whirlpool with this while I keep saving for the Speed Queens.
Does anyone have any more insight to its inner workings? Much appreciated

Look on the lower side of the cabinet or back of control panel for model tag.

The control panel looks '96-ish but the classic agitator and porcelain tub look earlier.  My mom's 2000 GE had a plastic tub and different agitator.   It was pretty much junk from day one.

Yours looks better built -- like it might still have some of the old GE integrity -- and could have a decent life span.
