Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

How TOL...

This seems like a very optioned washer to be a wringer. This reminds me of some of the machines in Mike's collection in the UK actually. These sort of square wringers with all of the control arranged seems very European to me. I have to say that I like the setup, but most of the American wringers seem to have the same simplistic setup, which makes this one really stand out. If I were closer, I'd love to have it just to play with it for a bit. I wonder who makes it?

Hey Mr Wizard

It looks like a late model Wizard or Coronado which were both rebrands. Does Ross in BC have a similar machine?

Marquette...

Was one of those Off Brands as I call them,I have seen several of their refrigerators, they also made ranges, they were sold in N C as I have seen them around my hometown of Lenoir N C .

Marquette Refrigeration?

There was a MARQUETTE Company in Minnesota that made refrigerators at least during the 1960s. Don't know if there is a relationship. Was researching the company for other reasons and couldn't find much on the company.

Minnesota - ding!

I have a catalog somewhere of a supply/distributing company that carried Marquette appliances. They had the full line of major appliances - maybe smalls too, I can't remember for sure.

They mostly re-badged appliances from other makers, laundry was all Franklin sourced.
