Maytag 806 Gas Dryer

Does this dryer use a pilot light or does it have electronic ignition? My friend that is going to help me lube the washer has an extra gas connector and I will be hooking up the dryer this weekend.

I believe the Halo of Heat gas dryers use a standing pilot light. Be sure to clean the dryer's air vents because the pilot puts off lots of water vapor and can corrode the internal components of the dryer.

While you're at it, check the thread I will be posting in a few minutes. I will be posting lots of pictures of how I opened up my housemate's DE306 HoH and cleaned and lubricated it. Once it's open, it's easy to change the belts, grease the tensioner, and oil the bearings.
