I recently got a Maytag A 712 washer and the De712 Dryer off of Kijiji in Calgary. The washer works pretty good, well after I changed the noisy belts, But it seems that the drum is not plumb in the washer. Can I tighten the screws for the 3 springs I saw under it to pull it to the left a little?

If it's not grossly out of plumb, I'm pretty sure this is normal for your washer.   We had a Maytag for years.  Even though it stood perfectly level, more of the tub rim was visible at the rear than at the front.

The cabinet vibrates a bit when its on spin but maybe its fine. I centered the drum but when its done washing its always a bit to the right-back. Maybe nothing is wrong?

It sounds fairly normal.  Just be sure the machine is level front to back and side to side as Kenny advised.

From what you described you may need to make minor leveling adjustments.  These Maytags are so heavy there shouldn't be any vibration during spin.  Ours never vibrated during spin, but the front cabinet panel would often silently quiver.

Shaking MT A712

Maytag's can vibrate especially on non-concrete floors.

First thing is turn all four feet in as far as possible and end up with a level washer, and be sure to tighten all four lock nuts against the bottom of the washer.

If the washer still has any vibration issues, take the front panel off and see if there is any black dust around the cast aluminum damper in the center of the washer, if so the damper pads are gone and the washer is not far behind. Replacing damper pads and the cast damper is a big job that is usually not worth the time and money it takes.

Good Luck, let us know what you find, John L.
