Go ahead and check the inlet screens but there is a 95% chance you have a worn out inlet valve,

 

Replace it while you can still buy good replacements.

Do you have a good source for an inlet valve for this model?

I was eyeing the one on amazon but the reviews say that there’s a problem with the terminal orientation.

Inlet valve testing

Valve screen was clean.

Hot side looks weak. Try reversing the hose hookups and see what happens.

We have a domestic hot water coil. Hot side is always weaker especially when it hasn't been flushed in a while, despite 50 psi water pressure.
