And here's a pic of the 15 year old snubber ring that came out of it. I'm wishing I kept the old transmission for disassembly...the failure-prone center drive gear is available on eBay for $12.
Maytag Atlantis transmission parts question
I have a MAV7504E Maytag washer. I have the transmission apart to replace the dreaded drive gear. While washing out the cases of old oil, I found a nylon washer that I hadn't noticed coming off of any shaft. Is this an errant part or does it actually fit inside the trans? Does anyone have a link to a complete teardown and parts list?
