Maytag Center Dial LA208 Leak

My Maytag Center Dial LA208 has a small leak that appears on the floor in the back left corner when facing the machine. Not much, a couple of paper towels cleans it up. Thought it was the hose attachments since the leak is below the fill valve, but tightening the hoses did not help. Seems to show up during the wash cycle, or maybe first spin out. Setting was hot/warm and medium for a couple of loads. Small puddle for each. No static leaks when not running. Today, I ran a couple of loads, hot/cold and large, then hot/cold and small. No leaks. If anyone has ideas as to what may cause this type of leak, I would greatly appreciate it. Wondering if easy or difficult. Many thanks, Ken

Injector

The part referenced as an air break is called the injector. Its job is to prevent accidental back-siphoning of the water. It's a really easy thing to replace. It's part #16001677 and is commonly available. If you look up that part number on Youtube, you can get installation instruction videos.

That should put things right as rain in short order,
Dave

Thank you gentlemen for the expert advice. I'll try to look up the part, and the video.

Many Thanks,
Ken
