Greg the Pink and Yellow look incredible together! I can't wait to see them in person sometime. The banners are wonderful too, congrats on another completed restoration, now you can sit back and enjoy.

Yes Greg....that beautiful yellow combo looks great next to your little pink Highlander. Congrats on the restoration...I know you did a lot of work on that machine to have her up and running. You must be very proud!

Great Job!!

Boy Greg the colors look so good together. I really like the color you painted the walls as well. That dark charcoal is really a great backdrop for the machines. Job well done!! Terry

Oh, Congratulations!

They look so nice together, and what a lot of work you put into the combo!

May you have many happy cycles!

Lawrence/Maytagbear

(and yes, I wish I had room for a collection! :)

Is that the new space in the Frigidaire Gallery? What machines were moved out to storage to make room for these beauties? CONGRATS!!!

WoW!

Greg,
They look showroom perfect!
Thanks for the pictures!
You might need to do a DVD sometime of your Maytag Combo!

wow

as Dartth Vader said....

"MOST IMPRESSIVE"!

wow The combo dwarfs the Highlander by a mile!! Its beautiful Greg and you earned it! Every cycle! I can't wait to see it in person. Pink & Yellow look so nice side by side.

I had the set up reversed in my mind but it makes so much more sense to put the Duets by the sink!!

Pull up a stool turn the dial and have a smoothie on me..

Good on ya Greg

Thanks everyone, the effort to get it running wasn't too bad (sort of like giving birth, you tend to forget the pain for the final joy ;-) and it's nice to have it working now. There is still some detail cleaning and gluing the woodgrain back down on the control panel, but I've run several loads since fixing the drying issue and all looks good so far. In the spirit of true automated combination washing, I've resisted the temptation to pull the clothes out and rinse them (as well as giving them a proper spin) before letting them dry...performance isn't the goal anyway, it's fun to just see one running!

I didn't put any of the Frigidaires in storage, Peter, I stacked the Duets to make room for these in the same room where the Bendix combo is. Here's a picture of the whole wall, you'll see the water softener in the corner next to the 54 Speed Queen set.

I love the color!

That's such a beautiful machine Greg. Can't wait to see it in person one day. Isn't it satisfying to have it finished and in it's permanent home?

YAY! 1 of 2 working Maytag Combos in existence is finally done!

Congratulations Greg--looks great next to "Pinkie"!

Westy?? One of two working Maytag Combo's?

Did I miss something?
Greg has one of two working Maytag Combo's?
Who has the other one?
Please do tell.
Brent

IT sure looks great! I bet its a big thrill just watching it run. I have been checking out the appliance store in Massillon all the time. You just don't know what you will find there. Maybe I will get lucky enough to find another one.

Greg, when you get a chance......

Hey Greg!
I am still excited about you getting this machine, and getting it up and running!
Have you done various type of loads in it as of yet?
Was wondering if when you have the time, if you could give us a little report on what you think about it's washing ability and drying?
I hope to see it in action one day!
Thanks
Brent
