Maytag DG808 Help

My DG808 has stopped heating - It appears that the flame is not igniting - Any ideas of what I should do to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated - Thanks !!!

#1  Check to make sure the igniter is working (it should glow bright orange just before the gas valve opens). 

 

#2  If the igniter is working, check to make sure the gas valve solenoid (CLICKS) just before the igniter stops glowing.

 

#3 if both of the above are working, make sure the gas is on.

DG808 Not Heating

Good suggestions Kevin, but you forgot # 4 Did you pay the gas bill, LOL.

 

But seriously, if you are seeing the igniter glowing then it is likely that the valve coils are bad and if you only hear a click at the valve you could have a bad flame sensor, Bob call me if you still have questions, I am at home tonight.
