It's Frigidaire. I can't let a mispelling of such an
important name go by unnoticed and unmentioned.

As far as the shaft goes it will need replacing.
I wonder if the former owner was like you and was
a little too rough on it. LOL

who me rough?? never....gentle as a lamb well unless the situation calls for using force, like with a stuck agitator or bolt or something..i have never damaged a shaft in my life
