Hi, everyone. I need help, please.
My lovely pink E2L has been called on to perform the main wash duty for my family of four--although not sheets, I'm too nervous to try running them through the wringer. But the agitator keeps coming off its post during wash, after about two minutes of work! Does anyone have tips or a solution for this? Otherwise, she's working very nicely, although I'm smelling oil, which worries me a bit, but I don't see any on the floor.
My more modern Whirlpool (2005 vintage) is ailing. It's a very aggravating situation! I've called two people, who gave me two different stories as to what's wrong, and one pushy fellow tried to sell me a new machine, which I absolutely don't want. I'd take another older one, though, if the Whirlpool can't be repaired, but haven't found one locally.
