Hello!
I have a (1981-ish) Maytag LA510, Series 01 washing machine, and when a contractor moved it, the part that connects to the internal siphon break fitting broke off on the outside of the washing machine.
My plumber took the back panel off and determined that the actual siphon break fitting is fine. The part we need is the part that extends to the outside of the machine and connects to the drain hose. The siphon break fitting is inside the panel, followed by a rubber gasket, then this piece that just rests against the gasket and is held in place when you screw on the plate in the back panel (see photos).
In these photos, the broken side sticks out the back of the machine, and the flat side is behind the panel and rests against the gasket.
So, we just need the piece that is broken and the gasket, not the actual siphon break fitting. Does anyone know the name or part number of that piece and the gasket? My plumber and I would rather find the correct parts than try to retrofit an adapter to connect the drain hose.
Thank you!
