Hello Michael! I have the same dishwasher from 2020, I believe your model was made just after they redesigned the pumps in these Maytags, I’m going to tell you how to get this taken care of. This model is essentially a manual cleaning filter and self cleaning at the same time, it has a food chopper to pulverize small bits but it also has a few plastic strainer filters directly under the lower wash arm to collect any heavy debri from getting into the chopper assembly. All you need to do is remove both racks, remove the back water feed tower and remove the lower arm and sump cover, once all that’s out you can easily pull out the two little strainers on the right hand side of the pump, and wash them out plus the metal stianless screen that sits over it to cover it all up. I will link a video for you, as you already mentioned I believe you seen some of these videos it’s very easy it only takes 10 or 15 minutes and it should solve the problem because the dishwasher cannot receive full water flow because it’s plugged. Now, if this doesn’t work, the only other problem is that the actual food chopper assembly is clogged as well and the best way I’ve seen to get to the chopper is by flipping the whole dishwasher on its top and taking the motor off directly to get into the chopper assembly. Let us know what happens!! These Maytags are awesome, absolutely love ours!
By the way, this model does not alter the wash arms it runs every arm at once the way it should be. I take mine apart once or twice a year to clean those out, upper arm always has good pressure. The reason the lower rack is cleaning and the top rack is in is because the lower arm always receives far much more pressure than the upper arm will so in other words if it’s clogged the lower arm is only able to pressurize to a certain extent and also check your back feed tube that runs up to the top rack arm and the roof jet and make sure there’s nothing in there clogging it. Keep us posted and I hope this helps!! Maytag kept this same motor and pump design until 2020 and they now alternate arms, no more good old fashioned wash systems based off the Point Voyagers anymore!
