Hi Dan, you can’t have the same dishwasher from 2020.

The dishwasher that’s being discussed here was made five years before that your dishwasher is not at all the same.

Hey Combo52, yes I am correct on this. I have the final generation of the same generation dishwasher that was in question from the author of this thread. He had the first year of the new Maytag dishwashers from 2015 when they redesigned their dishwashers switching over from the point voyager Jetclean series to the newly refreshed and revised models with the huge stainless steel arms that were sold from 2015-2020, they ended that wash system around 2020-2021 for the new wash system that alternates arms. Mine is a 2020 with the same older wash system as the author has in his model he is speaking of, I think you maybe thought that I had the brand new 2021 model. I will add pics of my model below, it was the final model of this 2015-2020ish generation and my model was made in late 2019 and purchased in 2020 model number MDB4949SHZ and I’ll add a photo of the model that comes up from the provided number by the author which does indeed have the same wash system as mine does that design was carried out for 5 years with a front fascia redesign in the middle of it where they refreshed the exterior design and my model is of the latest refresh they did for that series.
