I've been keeping a low profile lately due to a busy work schedule and other hectic tasks, but I did take a moment last month to scan a copy of the 1974 Maytag Merchandiser for Todd (varicyclevoice) out of Davenport. He spied the copy when he and Mike came up to Waterloo last fall.
I thought I'd post it here for the group to enjoy as well. Fun stuff like reviewing how they filmed a Maytag dishwasher commercial, highlighting the finalists for the Oldest Maytag washer program, as well as profiling a Maytag dealer out of KC.
From what I can tell the Maytag Merchadiser is the successor to Maytag News - a publication that both Geoff Delp and I have published articles on here in the past. What I am unsure of is when the switch happened - guessing late 60's or early 70's.
