So I have the new motor for the 1960 Highlander and before I stick it in there tomorrow, i have a quick question about the wiring.

Old motor is apparently a 70's replacement (round "servicible" type motor with the 70's /// Maytag logo).

Old motor has the following wire colors:
-Orange
-Red
-Yellow
-White
-White w/ Brown Stripes
-White w/ Black Stripes

New motor is a "T" frame motor, but still a 2-speed which I'm told will work with the washer. Has the same "glide mount" and everything.

It has hookups for:
-R (Red)
-Y (Yellow)
-O (Orange)
-WH (White?!?!)
-B (Black)
-BR (Brown)

So my question is this:
Do the striped wires go to their respective stripe colors? And does the white wire go to the WH terminal? I'm guessing yes, but I want to make sure before I put it in there. I don't have a schematic for the washer anywhere, or else I could figure it out that way!

Thanks in advance, I want to put the thing together tomorrow afternoon to see if she runs! If she does, there WILL be a video, you can be sure of that.

For Future Reference...

So that if anyone ever searches the archives for an answer to this question:

YES! The motor wires exactly as I stated above. I gave it a trial run and everything works perfectly!

Replacement motor is a Maytag 2-1807 2-speed T-Frame motor.

Washer is a 1960 Maytag 126 Highlander.
