Ok, so I have trouble shot the issue with the Maytag pair I picked up on CL. The dryer works but it makes a screeching noise when it tumbles. Is this a roller issue? How can I fix it. I would like to sell the set and get some money back out of them. Model SDE3606AyW serial is 11126166CV I am assuming if was mfg in 2005. Anyone?

It's probably the support pads, that hold the front of the tub up. Pretty easy fix.

It could be one of the support rollers but my money's on the idler pulley. I've replaced quite a few on this design. Also, before you tear it apart, check to see if you have a screw, pin or something of the like stuck inbetween the drum and the front or rear bulkhead in the felt seal. That's more common than you think.
