Maytag washer and dryer on Ebay

These are cute.....I was wondering what, if any, thoughts you guys would have on these machines. Looks like it would be a nice day trip to pick them up.

WOW, another Maytag twinny, with a matching dryer!

My advice is: Get them, but avoid if you can't obtain a washer repair manual. I didn't when I had my Porta-Washer and it was a nightmare to work on without guidance. When I replaced the diverter valve it didn't work right, so I ended up parting it out and throwing away the cabinet/lid assembly (still have all of the parts...including the timer, new diverter valve, agitators, impeller belt, spin basket, motors, and more). Be sure to question the seller as much as you can!!!
