That label above the suds saver says, "Don't save suds water"...something something blah blah.

Dont Save the Suds!

Either the machine wasn't connected to a laundry sink or something happened to the suds valve at some point. That is all I can think of, probably the 1st option, my roommate made that mistake once with my 502. I forbid the use of that machine afterwards.
