Does anyone know of someone who can look at my machine? I just bought it off an older gentlemen that had it sitting in his garage for so long he couldn't remember where he got it. The washing mechanism works great but for some reason when I turned the pump on the water doesn't come out the spout.

You will know it either a clog issue or pump issue by lowering the drain hose below the tub into a bucket. If water comes out fine by gravity, it is a pump issue, if nothing comes out or it just trickles, its a clog.

You can try the boiling water method that I used, to free up the frozen drain pump on a maytag wringer washer that I gave to my aunt.
The hardest part was filling the washer with the boiling water & trying not to burn myself by touching the sides of the washer tub by leaning on it or getting too close to it & accidentally touching it (OUCH!!).

A simple adjustment
might be all that's needed. Check that when you activate the pump, the pump wheel is making contact with the lip on the pulley itself. That's what actually drives the pump.
