Hello wringer washer fans!

I came across an ebay listing for what appears to be a 1930s Meadows wringer washer. The seller could not state what brand it is, but I could barely make out "Bloomington" on the label. That got me to searching the company history, and I found this article online. Enjoy the read!

Here is the ebay link ... https://www.ebay.com/itm/145085338334

This Wringer washer sure looks a lot like a Maytag Wringer washer from that time period, even though its not a Maytag.  I’ve never seen any other wringer washer but a Maytag with a square tub with a hinged lid.

HI Brad

As I recall the Meadows Washing Machine started business in my hometown of Pontiac, Ill. The early machines had wooden tubs and the wringer mechanism was pushed back and forth on a sort of track between tubs.
