I went to a big fles mkt in Nashville Tn with my two aunts that live there and a friend I met on HGTV message boards.Had a great time saw lots of stuff even some washers but I didnt get to check them out. Lots of bargains, I got a model 10 Oster Blender,works great, a Rival Juice-O-Mat, Near mint,5.00, and a 1940s english art deco phone. I hope I get to go back this month. Like Pete Im just crazy about this stuff!

Nice finds but are you sure that's an English phone, if it is the dial should be on the other side.
That phone looks like older Dutch phones too. There is a small round white tab on the top, what does it say?
BTW... that's a very interesting looking table with the inlays..what's the story with it.

What do you mean "meager finds"! These are great! I especially love the Oster Beehive blender! Tell me, are the glass jar and blade assembly two separate units like its modern counterparts?

Pete, and Louis ,I was guessing, I dont recognize any name theres a tag on top for your # and a white button that cancels call. My table has a little art deco paint trim on it. found it at a thrift store that handled some antiques. Venus the jar does separate,I cant wait to make something in it! Bethann, there are a wide variety of styles and colors the juice o mats and ice o mats. Thanks everybody!

I loved it! Lots of stuff, The biggest I`ve ever been to. Lots of antiques and collectibles and of course new stuff as well. They have a lot of large buildings so most of its inside. I think you have to pay 3 to 5.00 for parking, nothing to get in. All the dealers I bought from came down on the price.( I always like a bargain) Its at the Tennessee state fairgrounds on Nolensville pike, If you come in on 24 you go past 240 and take Felsen Lane, it runs into Polk Ave, then to nolensville pike and turn right and your nearly at it. Im having sugery(hernia) next week and will be off work for a little while.I may go again this month. Its always the 4th weekend.
