But I would love to find one of those sinks for my shed.

Check salvage places as you can usually find those old deep porcelain kitchen and laundry sinks in such places. Also speak with plumbers and or contractors about places that are being demolished or renovated. You'd be surprised at what property owners chuck out. Also check websites such as this: http://thisoldtubandsink.com/vintage-kitchen-sinks.html

As with Charles cabinets and other "retro" things you may have to pay a good amount for a sink in good to excellent condition. Also as with our vintage appliance game the chances of what you want being halfway across the country are great. So be prepared for crating/shipping.

Are the "guests" and "narrators" of the blog IIRC.

Bar Harbor is such a beautiful place, but yes highly doubt Mrs. Stewart is there in below freezing weather. *LOL*

What kills me about Ms. Stewart's empire is that much of her homes and their contents are subsidized by American taxpayers. IIRC the woman has all her homes and so forth as part of her companies. This allows her to take deductions on taxes which must save a pretty penny.

Martha is kind of like the Queen of England, what is "hers" versus what belongs to the "family firm" is hard to tell.

Finding one of those sinks for free somewhere is my way to go Laundress. If worse came to worse I can get a cheap plastic laundry tub from Lowes for about $40 which will work fine. Pump water out of the lake and let the drain go out and into the woods. Unfortunately, will only be useable in warmer weather. But then I can use my Maytag wringer more.
