Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

LOVED it thank you!

Notice that the 21" stove of that era is now seen as 20".

US cabinets come in 3 inch incremements in sizes so stoves sizes of:

21" (52.5cm)
24" (60cm)
27" (67.5cm)
30" (75m) Now the most common US size.
36" (90cm)

make sense. The 20" (50cm) and 40" (100cm) inch coookers are odd-balls.

Neat seeing the compact W&D and seeing a top-loading DW. For some reason I thought the DW-ers had been phased-out earlier in time!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS.

Look at the knobs on the "Lady Executive" Washer--

And Merry Christmas to you.

The Mini-basket should arrive today

That's a wonderful catalog - thanks for taking the time to scan and post it, that is a lot of work.

We had friends with the WLW5800P washer - with the scrub-board under the lid. (I think Nate just saw one like this in the SFO area)

My aunt had the drop-in range in avocado as pictured - what an elegant and hard-to-clean design that was.

Interesting to see that a)there was still a top-loading dishwasher (although I remember seeing them at Famous-Barr department store around this time and maybe for a year or 2 longer) and b)the blade-handle drop in stoves still existed.

Never did like the small-knob HP range dials (my grandmother had a 1966 easy-clean HP range..."Custom Crafted" (teflon panels/wire rack supports in oven) with 5-position knobs for the top elements...5 fixed heats wasnt the problem but the knobs seemed slippery (and the stove didn't have a element-on light which seemed odd)

Ah, memories! My parents had the GE version of the trash compactor shown here.

What a wonderful thing to share! Thanks and have a safe and happy Holiday Season!!
