My latest aquizition. From a friend, a circa 1955 Eureka Roto Matic!

WOW! The first of a series that will last almost 50 years.

The machines is scuffed and has some scrapes. But the paint otherwise is very sparkly and just gorgeous!

Wish the picture didn't make it seem so dull. Its much nicer in person. Maybe too much reflection. Or perhaps I just didn't wipe that side down well enough.

The hose is ***MINT!******

Hose

Here is the incredible gorgeous original hose.

Its silver, grey, and red. Its got a shine to it, that just doesn't show up well on the camera.

Its incredibly air tight, with no leaks. I have never personally seen a nicer cloth woven hose.

This machine has POWER! Its so very quiet, and wow, to my surprise it will pick up the rug in the entry way with ease.

Im going to have fun with this beauty.

The machines are very quiet, easy to use and have huge dirt capacity. I remember several other pricier brands made on the same chassis. Its fun to see a young collector fueling the passion with so many finds. Thanks for sharing.

Brandon that is a great vacuum. Designed well and does just what it is suppose to.LOL That sure is a beautiful hose. Congratulations on a great find.

That is a 1954 Roto Matic

The 1955 model was the same color but instead of the big knurled knobs used to tighten the top the 1955 model had clamps. My family has the 1955 model in the garage at our lake house. The 1953 model was green with the knurled knobs and the 1956 model was yellow and grey.......PAT COFFEY

Wow thanks all for the complements and info!

Thats cool that its a 54. I didn't know there was one before this model. If someone has some pictures I would love to see it!
