Not sure

I've seen identical bags of Foca at Sav-A-Lot supermarkets and they have no phosphates. You'd be taking a chance.

The description of Roma does refer to phosphates, but one might want to email the seller first to be sure.

Former AW member, the lovely Venus, once sent me a care package of assorted Mexican laundry detergents form Texas. It was my introduction to Ariel, etc. I don't recall all the brand names at the moment, but one was lime-scented and it was awesome. Ariel bio was probably the best cleaner of the lot, as I recall. It was wonderful---like having a buffet of detergents to choose from. I continued purchasing those brands at a Mexican grocery store in Minneapolis, but stopped when I got rid of my 2006 Frigidaire top-loader.

One of the brands seemed to be the Mexican version of Tide--at least it used a very similar logo on the packaging. Can't recall the brand name. Ace (pronounced "AH-chay"), maybe? Maybe that was the brand that had a lime-scented version. I'm not seeing Ace at the Mexican grocers online. Have you run across it, Launderess?

Foca is readily available at Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee grocery stores in this area of Minnesota. It's the one brand I never tried, and I'd hate to see the froth it would whip up during a long wash in the 2010 Frigidaire front-loader, LOL. I also see an obviously Americanized version of Ariel in the same stores.

Update: Here is Ace. Doesn't seem readily available online anymore. This is one of the few places selling it.

No, you're right no phosfates in the. TheLatinproducts shops, they just took old photos and copied the decription of when they came with phospfates but bags that comes are the new ones without. Just got a boxfull months ago from them....and no one  came with phosfates....

They have also a own online shop called: TheLatinProducts offering a wider selection of latin products and way better prices than  on their ebay shop! If you enter and click to leave page an automatic chat will pop up offering a code for you to have  a 5% off on their products also
They offer also international shipping if you ask!

I became friend with the owner named Francisco, and sale assistant Sheyla,  ask for her she is such a kind lady,  they're great people, kind and professional!
I love that shop!

I bought the Viva detergent and it did quite alright...but for less money and I can get it around here is the 1.2.3 Blanca Fresh something or other and that cleans on par with Persil, German Persil that is. Henkel makes this detergent as well as Viva. I use the 123 on whites and the results are outstanding.

Pine is such a vintage scent. Reminds me of the 1950's-1960's.

We lived in Montevideo, MN for awhile in 1967, and our next door neighbor (who had a Maytag Highlander) would pour Pine Sol into every wash load, along with detergent. No measuring; she'd just eyeball it, pouring straight from the bottle in a circle over the load in the tub. Needless to say, everything in their house smelled of pine. Her son and I were friends, and I'll never forget the scent of pine on all his clothes.

I used to use Pine-Sol when we were doing the laundry for my grandmother.  Grandma had potty problems, and this was the only thing that would deodorize her clothing and bed linens.  After washing it was all hung outside to dry, and the most pungent part of the smell disappeared.  What pine smell remained was actually somewhat pleasant.

I like the fresh scent of Pinol so much but actually is the only latin/mex detergent I tried that didn't work well at washing for me.....anyway I prefer other scents way more the one of Roma, Ariel and Arcoiris.....I miss to try Maestro Limpio laundry detergent, which is thr mexican version of Mr Proper but  laundry detergent powder and also multi purpose ( like many detergents were in old  GOOD days)......For those interested in pine aroma and maybe like me you'll not like Pinol  washing performances , Alen (manufacturer of Pinol ) I know have also a pine scented multi-purpose cleaner called "Pinalen"  you can add in the laundry also.......
